Our hotel has undergone more than one change in its more than 50-year history, responding to the expectations of guests. The very name New Skanpol contains a related anecdote. Initially, "Skanpol" name was selected through a competition. However, in 1994 the hotel changed owners and also changed its name. For the sake of long-standing tradition, the original Skanpol part was retained, adding the word New as away to announce the upcoming changes.
A perfect example of these were renovations and changes in decor. To date, we have ensured that both the furnishings and interior design meet current standards. The result of the investments made over the recent months will be, among other things, additional Deluxe rooms.Referring to recent times, it is impossible not to mention the challenges posed by the pandemic. They showed how, in a short period of time, we were able to adapt the services we offer to ensure the maximum level of safety and comfort, including breakfast served to the rooms or modern systems for disinfecting the space.Even at times when we cannot fully accommodate guests, we have not slowed down. We are preparing more changes in our Wellness space. Thanks to the innovations, guests will be able to enjoy an even better standard of service. However, this does not apply only to interiors - the Wellness Center's offer is constantly expanding with new massage and treatment offerings.
